Quote: “If you're gonna get into trouble, you'd better have fast feet or a fast mouth!”

Additional Information: Azora is an optimistic, free-spirited and hyperactive harpy who rarely does anything calmly and quietly, including talking. She is easily excitable, so if one wants to avoid hearing an ear-shattering squeal of glee from her, all good news must be delivered carefully. The Sea Strider spends much of her time streaking across the sea, bouncing between crystal structures littering the blue deep from Iracal Island to the Myrodia Coast. Azora was hatched on Mount Litocoro on Iracal Island. Like many of the younger generation of harpies hatched there, Azora was looked after by the humans of Torin city until she grew to a size that she could feed herself. When Azora isn’t on Iracal Island, visiting the city of Torin, she is at her new home in the Thayrn Forest on the Myrodia Coast. Her attachment to the sea and desire to travel made her a natural choice to serve as a liaison between the island harpies and the harpies on the mainland.

Hunting Habits: Because of Azora’s upbringing, the harpy is hesitant to eat a human for fear that they could be Torinian. Obviously, she has no compunction about anyone that she knows isn’t from her home city. Being only 50 feet (15 meters) tall, she is in the medium range as far harpy sizes are concerned.  Azora is a Sea Strider so she usually preys on sea creatures such as fish and smaller mermaids. Diving into the sea from the sky above and emerging with a meal gives the harpy such a thrill. Another treat that she occasionally gets to enjoy are sailors who sail in fast ships. Azora can’t get enough of seeing the look on their faces when they see her running on the surface of the water alongside their ship. If she fails to snatch a sailor off the ship then, she will try diving into the water and creating a splash big enough to send a sailor or two overboard for her to pluck up.
