Concept Sketch: Sphinx-Harpy Battle

Here's a sketch of a battle between a sphinx pride and Torinians As explained in a document I wrote titled The War in the Skies, a war started by the harpy Ourana sometime after 1787 AU in the Akaptor Desert carried over to Iracal Island when one particular pride refused to let her get away with "murder." Ourana’s “crimes” were far greater than murder from the perspective of many sphinxes across the continent—murder was merely the most personal offense, and the reason this pride chose to pursue the remnants of Ourana’s flock across the Shimmering Sea. The conflict continued there for over one hundred years, with Ourana eventually gaining the upper hand by adding Torinian humans to her ranks.
