Flora: Crystal Blossom
========================
Resembling the Cherry Blossom, a tree rumored to exist in another world, the Crystal Blossom blooms only in cold weather. It can be found in various lands in the Shimmering Sea. Its beauty and sweet petals makes its blooming a special occasion in many cultures. The petals of the Crystal Blossom are actually formations of sugar crystals that are very light and soft but also hold together well when frozen. The bright red berries that grow on the Crystal Blossom are very juicy but slightly tart. When the berries are eaten with the petals of the Crystal Blossom it is said to create an icy symphony of flavors on the tongue. These berries and petals are highly sought after. Many humanoid species have come to the Shimmering Sea in search of Crystal Blossoms only to be intercepted by patiently waiting predators that know of their taste for sweets.

Edible Plant: Icarus Plant (Icarus Leaf)
==========================================
Rarity: Common
Famous for making mere humans feel like superhumans (often resulting in serious injuries), the Icarus Plant has potent psychoactive effects. The soft, multicolored leaves of the Icarus Plant have the uncanny appearance of bird feathers, so much so that the plants have been mistaken for birds resting on the ground. It's used in drinks or in smoking products. Since the plant has a calming effect, making the most stressed out person feel completely calm and in control, it is a must for adventurers who dare to brave the dangers of Felarya's predator-filled wilderness. Unfortunately, as has been the case in many situations, Icarus Plant consumed in excess turns confidence into foolish arrogance. Nothing may seem impossible to the person who is high on Icarus plant. The folly of those who "got high as the sun" is well documented and because of this it is often said, "Icarus Plant comes before a fall." In the city of Torin, it is an ingredient used in the popular drink "Karu." This bitter, yet potent, beverage Karu has been blamed for the majority of foolish actions committed there. Legend has it that it was the last drink that King Cretes Torin had before his untimely death. Because of this, it's become a custom to drink Karu on the former King's birthday.

Edible Plant: Pomper-Prickle Pickles
======================================
Rarity: Common
Named after the botanist duo that first brought the peppers to Negav, the Pomper-Prickle Pickles are fruit that can be found in various places but are most abundant in Deeper Felarya. They typically have an oblong shape and range in size anywhere from the average size of a human foot to the length of an arm. The pickles stand out due to their purple color decorated by large pink dots. Their astonishingly sweet flavor has them ranked high in culinary potential. They've been eaten dried, fried, frozen, raw, and even liquefied. These purple and pink Pomper-Prickle Pickles are also very nutritious so adventurers in the wilderness are wise to keep an eye out for them, but be ware of their spicy sibling.

Edible Plant: Prickle-Pomper Peppers
======================================
Rarity: Rare
Very much like the Pomper-Prickle Pickles in size and shape, the Prickle-Pomper Peppers can be easily mistaken for its sweet counterpart, but that is likely to happen only once. Distinguished by their pink color decorated with large purple dots, the Prickle-Pomper Peppers have one of, if not the hottest flavor in all of Felarya. Those who have made the mistake of biting into this fruit have been known to pass out for an hour or two or lose all sensation in their mouths do to the overwhelming heat; but those are the fortunate ones. The less fortunate remained conscious and have reported feeling like their mouth was literally on fire for up to ten agonizing minutes, and no amount of water could ease their suffering. This led to the pepper's usefulness as an explosive being tested by some scientists who have also begun researching the pepper's medical potential.
Though it would seem silly, and maybe even unthinkable, the pink and purple Prickle-Pomper Peppers are kept on display in bars of various cities for any patron daring enough to take the Prickle-Pomper Pepper challenge. This challenge typically involves two people who have consumed a little Icarus Leaf for courage taking as many bites as they can before being rushed to the medical centers. But before they can even take the challenge they must first sign a waiver absolving the bar in the event that a tragedy occurs, and the participants must present a written will detailing the instructions for the disposition of their property, just as an added measure.

Mineral: Iracal Crystal
==============================
Rarity: Abundant
One of the most conductive materials in Felarya, Iracal Crystal is exceedingly good at storing and transmitting energies; energies such as sound, light, heat, cold, electricity, and even kinetic energy. Energies can be stored for months or years before it fades or is discharged by an outside force. The 50 to 80 foot (15 to 24 m) high monoliths found in the area resonate melodiously in high wind and stay charged with sunlight throughout the night. They are believed to be created by Iracal Island’s strange environmental phenomena. Because the crystal doesn't grant the holder any power it is not very sought after by explorers, even though it has many uses. To innately magical people, such as those that reside in Torin, the crystal is very much appreciated as a medium to manifest the magic within their bodies. It's also used to light buildings, power machines, keep food cold, and craft weapons and artifacts.
